A Good Drink That Does Good
Naming, branding and packaging design for this new canned apperitivo. Not only is it a lovely drink but all proceeds from the sales of Mayfly will go to the Bug In The Brain charity, helping to fund brain tumour research and support in the UK. So in this rare case, please drink irresponsibly.
The Setup
Some old friends of Colorido were looking to launch Mayfly as a great way to raise money for the Bug In The Brain charity. The cans needed a look that was a bit different, something that felt warm and open and spoke to the lightness of the flavours as well has having instant visual appeal.
The Delivery
We collectively settled on the name Mayfly as it evokes a sense of early summer and it's also a reminder that life can be fleeting and precious. The can designs have a gentle colour palette and are light and breezy, capturing the spirit of a summer afternoon picnic. A hand drawn logotype and illustrations help give everything a sense of freedom and warmth.
