Bold Foods

Bold Tastes Need Bold Designs

Bold Foods is the new name of IBC Simply, an innovative UK food services company that specialises in syrups, sweet toppings and flavour creation, development and testing. We worked with them to create a new name, brand and visual identity that's unapologetically bold.

The Setup

The existing IBC Simply brand was an amalgamation of the original Italian Beverage Company and the Simply syrup product and confectionary range that was starting to feel less than fit for purpose. As the business was growing and diversifying it became clear that a new name brand was required to better reflect the direction of the company and the growing range of products and services.

The Delivery

First things first, we worked with the IBC Simply team to rename the group to become Bold Foods. To support the strapping flavours and the pioneering attitude of Bold Foods, the new Bold logo is always slightly too big for the space it's in, with cropped edges that create a feeling of fullness and plenty. The wider visual identity follows this route with beautiful, close cropped macro photography of sweet ingredients and a strong and dynamic colour palette to match the brand's unapologetic approach.
